
Marcellino Beach or the French beach
At the end of a deep valley rich of vegetation descending from the village of San Giovanni a Piro, a magnificent inlet opens up along the coast of the Masseta, which includes the beach of Marcellino, also known as the French beach. A swim to remember in the deep blue sea, among landscapes of rare beauty. Nearby, the no less magnificent beaches of Sciabica and Risima.

It is like entering and delving into an unexpected Eden, where amazement accompanies every step. Far away from the noises of everyday life, it is a muffled silence that welcomes you into the calm bosom of the forest.

A valley on the eastern side of Cervati Mount, in the heart of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park. A mountain meadow, usually populated by herds of horses and free cows, on which golden eagles often twirl. A green expanse thriveing with life that, from April, is tinged with all shades of pink, purple, white and blue.

It can be reached from Grottadaspide to the north or from Vallo della Lucania to the south.

South of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni park, where the Gulf of Policastro opens, the Oasis of Capello is just a kilometer away from Casaletto Spartano.

In the vicinity of Sant’Angelo a Fasanella, a territory already known for the Antece, among the numerous references to a nature of great beauty, there are the watrfalls of the river Auso.

It is the kingdom of the gray wolf, so much so that it even deserves the name of Oasi del Lupo. And it is identified with a Site of Community Interest and with a Special Protection Area, to underline the extraordinary naturalistic value of Monte Polveracchio, which reaches 1792 metres.
