South of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni park, where the Gulf of Policastro opens, the Oasis of Capello is just a kilometer away from Casaletto Spartano.

It keeps a natural masterpiece created by the water of rio Bussentino, a tributary of the river Bussento, which forms a waterfall falling from a rock completely covered by the dedicate Adiantum capillus veneris, better known as Capelvenere. The shady realm of the beautiful evergreen fern is completed by the natural pools the waterfall has dug over time into the river bed.

You can get there following suggestive paths surrounded by greenery, along which you can see an ancient water mill that can be visited and several wooden bridges thanks to which you can across the river. There is also a stone bridge of the Normand period, just above the rock surrounded by the Capelvenere from which the Bussentino descends spectacularly.
